Source: 1940s obituaries collected by Rose Marie Sutherlin provided to kbz via Betty Dotson (one great lady and genealogist – both were and ironically, I have been cleaning my genealogy things out and found this on the day Betty passed – probably had it for years when Rose Marie passed as fairly sure Betty received much of her things and Betty likely already had one of these)
Mrs. Elizabeth Dice, aged 81, a former resident of the Salem community near Covington died Tuesday morning at her home in Ft. Wayne. Mrs. Dice was born Oct 1863 in Troy Twp, daughter of James and Bella B. Easton Remster and was married to Charles Dice who died in 1917. Surviving are two sons, Charles Jr of Ft Wayne and Clifford in California. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon at the Salem Church near Covington with burial in Mt. Hope cemetery, Covington. – kbz
